Chemical composition of Konjac
   Carbohydrate are the main components in konjac corm , account for about 70% of the dried substance, 50% of the carbohydrate is glucomannan, 20% of the carbohydrate is starch, 9.7% of the carbohydrate is crude protein, 7.8% of the carbohydrate is amino acid, 2.5% of the carbohydrate is cellulose, 2.9% of the carbohydrate is soluble sugar, 2% of the carbohydrate is alkaloids and 2.6% of the carbohydrate is ash.
